Meryll, “SURPRISE!!!”

Chase, “Meryll…… I knew about the party. It’s not a surprise.”

Meryll, “Aww I know… Parties are just better when somebody shouts surprise.”

Seraph, “Hey Chase! Good to see you.”
Chase, “Hopefully the trip was ok?”

Seraph, “Yeah! I’ve never taken the plane before. The turbulence was rough, but nothing compared to three hours in the car with this nutcase.”
Meryll, “Hey…”

[Carleigh, “Hey! I’m here!”]
Chase, “Oh, perfect. Carleigh! Come meet everybody!”

Carleigh, “Hi!”
Chase, “These are some of Alister’s friends. Meryll, Seraph, and Brodwyn over there on the couch.”
Meryll, “And the baby is Casper!”

Chase, “Everybody, this is Carleigh. She’s due a couple of months before me.”
Meryll, “Congratulations!!”
Seraph, “Nice to meet you.”

Carleigh, “So where should I put this?”

Meryll, “Oh, this way!! I’ll show you!”

Chase, “Miserable.”

Sparrow, “Hey, guys.”
Chase, “Sparrow! How are you?”

Sparrow, “Fine, thanks. Where do the gifts go?”

Chase, “Oh, err… Over in the kitchen, I believe.”

Seraph, “Well that was chilly.”
Chase, “She really did get a lot of plastic surgery done, didn’t she.”

Edmund, “Good to see you, Vult! Gabe!”
Vult, “Hey.”
Gabe, “Good to see you!”

Alister, “Hi, guys.”
Gabe, “It’s the man of the hour!”

Vult, “I half expected you to be hiding off in a corner somewhere.”
Alister, “Heh, tempting.”

Vult, “Sorry, I tried talking Mer out of making such a big thing out of this, but…”
Alister, “It’s ok…”
Gabe, “Are you excited about the gender reveal?”

Alister, “Oh… Pretty nervous, actually.”

Vult, “If by unfair you mean hilarious.”
Gabe, “We had to bring gifts, didn’t we?”

Edmund, “So uh… Did Sparrow come with you guys?”
Gabe, “Oh… Yeah, she’s around here somewhere.”

Edmund, “Sorry, pardon me.”
Vult, “No problem.”
