Edmund, “Ugh… How many of these are we supposed to blow up?”
Alister, “Umm the whole bag, I guess?”

Edmund, “How long’ve we got?”
Alister, “Let me check…”

Alister, “Maybe twenty minutes?”
Edmund, “Bollocks.”

Edmund, “Getting nervous yet?”

Alister, “Heh… Out of my mind.”

Alister, “I can’t believe you’re making us wait to find out the gender.”
Edmund, “Well, it wasn’t my idea but I’d be lying if I said it weren’t brilliant.”

Edmund, “So other than that, how are you holding up?”
Alister, “Oh… You mean with the baby and everything…?”

Alister, [sigh] “I feel like I wake up every morning shocked all over again.”

Alister, “When is the reality of it supposed to sink in?”
Edmund, “Well, probably once you’re holding it… heh.”

Alister, “Ugh…”
Edmund, “Relax, Alister!”

Alister, “I just…… I don’t think I’m cut out to be a dad.”

Edmund, “Allie…”

Edmund, “I’m sure everybody feels that way when a baby is on the way…”

Alister, “I’m serious, though. I can barely manage myself some days. How can I raise a kid?”

Edmund, “I’m sorry, Alister. I know you’re worried, but what really matters is that you care enough to worry. I’m sure Meryll and Gabe would tell you the same thing.”

Alister, “My father — rather, Sparrow’s father — he was… a lot to live up to.”

Edmund, “I can understand that, but you needn’t compare yourself to anybody else. You are your own person.”
Alister, “I guess…”

Alister, “What if… What if Chase decides she doesn’t want me around anymore? Am I just another irresponsible guy leaving kids in his wake?”

Alister, “Even though we weren’t planning on a kid, I still want to matter… I want to be part of their life. I want them to know they’re loved and that I’m here.”

Edmund, “…Chase will be Chase. Morrow willing, she’ll recognize that she lucked out with you. I don’t think you have anything to worry about.”
Alister, “Thanks, Teddy.”

Edmund, “Now get blowing. I don’t want to be the only one doing all the work, here.”
[Fenrys, “I heard that!”]

Edmund, “FENRYS SO HELP ME!!”
