Chase, “Hey. Carleigh and I were chatting about baby names yesterday…”

Alister, “Oh?”
Chase, “Yeah. I was wondering what ideas you might have, though.”

Alister, “Me?? I… I hadn’t really been thinking about it…”

Chase, “No?”
Alister, “I… I don’t know, I figured you had your own plan for names.”

Alister, “I’m not sure what you want me to be involved in or not, and I don’t want to assume…”

Chase, “There you go, worrying again.”

Alister, “I know…”
Chase, “Sorry if I’m causing you stress at all.”

Alister, “No… I mean, like I said, I just don’t want to assume.”
Chase, “And yet, you assume I don’t want your help with anything…?”

Alister, “Augh, haha…”

Chase, “So how about it? Any thoughts about names?”
Alister, “Hmm…”

Alister, “If we had a boy, I would like to name him after my adopted father, Demetrius, in some way.”
Chase, “See, that wasn’t hard.”

Alister, “Oh, it’s Seraph. She says they just left the airport.”

Chase, [sigh] “Guess that means we have to get up and get ready.”
Alister, “If you want, I can take care of everything. You get some more rest.”

Chase, “You can take over for the next few months. I’ll be here.”

Alister, “I can make you something to eat though.”
