Simple Mathematics, pt.2

NOTE: This has been copied from its original post verbatim, including misc jabber before/after.

i apologize in advance because you’re more than likely going to be extremely angry towards sparrow, and there are a few things that won’t be explained for a while. just please keep in mind that sparrow is very rarely what she seems to be on the surface 😡

Alister, “Have you ever just…”

Alister, “…Nevermind.”
Sparrow, “Allie…”

Sparrow, “. . .”

Alister, “I just don’t know what to do. I want to resume my residency, but I can’t…”

Alister, “I want to write to Gwen, and read what she wrote to me, but I can’t…”
Sparrow, “Shh…”

Alister, “I’m just pathetic. Too afraid to do anything. A waste of space.”
Sparrow, “Allie, shh……”

Sparrow, [sigh…]

Alister, “…Sometimes I just… I wish… that it could just… stop.”

Sparrow, “Tell you what. I’ll go make you something to eat, and then we’ll talk. Ok?”
Alister, “……I guess.”

Sparrow, “Don’t move. I’ll be right back!”
Alister, “Mhmm.”

Alister, [groan]

[door shuts]

Seraph, “That is just fucked up.”
Sparrow, “Huh?!”

Sparrow, “Don’t you have anything better to do than creep around and eavesdrop??”

Seraph, “Why’d you lie to him about stealing his meds?”

Sparrow, “…Excuse me?”
Seraph, “You heard what I said.”

Sparrow, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Seraph, “…Uh-huh.”

Seraph, “If you keep hurting him, I swear I’m going to make you regret it.”

Sparrow, “And what would you know about it? I don’t think it’s any of your business.”

Seraph, “Everything that happens under this roof is my business.”
Sparrow, “Oh? Well I think you’re missing a crucial part of your threat.”

Sparrow, “I’m not afraid of you.”
Seraph, “Is that so? Well I think you’re missing something, as well.”

Sparrow, “And what would that be?”

Seraph, “That you should be.”

and they all lived happily ever after, the end. \(ˆ—ˆ)/
